Privacy notice

This notice covers the Tolvara website. It explains what we collect, why, where it is kept and how to have it removed. It is short because the website collects very little.

Who we are

Tolvara Ltd (company number NI739585), registered in Northern Ireland at Unit 512 Moat House Business Centre, 54 Bloomfield Avenue, Belfast BT5 5AD, is the data controller for this website. You can reach us at contact@tolvara.ai.

What we collect

If you join the early access list, we collect your email address and the time you joined. That is all the website collects. We do not run analytics, set tracking cookies or use advertising pixels.

Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, including IP addresses, for security and to keep the site running. We do not use these to identify visitors.

If you email us, we keep the correspondence for as long as we need it to deal with your enquiry.

Why we collect it

We use your email address to tell you when there is something to run and to invite you to try it. We rely on your consent, which you give by joining the list and can withdraw at any time. We do not sell or share the list, and we do not use it for anything else.

Where it is kept

The list is stored on Amazon Web Services in Ireland, encrypted at rest. It does not leave the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area.

How long we keep it

We keep your address until you ask us to remove it, or until the early access period ends, whichever comes first. If we invite you to the product and you do not take it up, we will remove your address within twelve months of the invitation.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask to see the data we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, or object to our using it. Email contact@tolvara.ai and we will act on it within a month. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes

When the product opens it will have its own notice covering the files you upload and how they are handled. We will update this page when that happens, and the revision in the title block will change.
